what is the typical build time of one of your homes?

We can generally build a home in under 12 months. Once lumber is on site our homes generally take about 7 months to finish. There are numerous factors that can cause that timeline to expand such as design features and selections, weather, labor strikes, supply chain issues, and more.

can we customize one of your floorplans?

If the changes are made prior to building issuance we are able to make changes. If the home is already under construction some small alterations may be allowed. Any changes requiring re-permitting or re-engineering are not allowed.

are we able to make color selections or upgrades?

If early enough in the construction process you may be able to meet with suppliers to select upgrades and/or colors at an additional cost. When choosing upgrades please remember that we require 100% of the cost of the upgrades to be paid at the time of the selection.

How about appliances? Are they included?

All homes include the range/oven, hood-fan, microwave, and dishwasher. Each home is different so please contact your sales representative for detailed information.

i’ve never owned a new home before. How will i learn about all of the features?

Your construction manager will demonstrate and explain everything about your new home during your new home orientation prior to closing. At closing your will be enrolled into the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program. The construction manager will discuss this with you as well. For further information about the warranty. what is the warranty on my new home?

Your new home comes with a 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program. This provides a one-year fit & finish warranty, two-year systems warranty, and a ten-year structural warranty. All home appliances are warrantied directly through the manufacturer.

Any cosmetic issues must be noted at the pre-closing walkthrough orientation.
